ARS PACE and UPEACE (the United Nations University for Peace) are participating in the International Peace Music Festival, organized for the first time, to mark the International Day of Peace – established by the UN and celebrated annually on September 21st. On November 30, 1981, via Resolution 36/67, the UN General Assembly designated the third Tuesday of September as the International Day of Peace. Subsequently, in 2001, Resolution 55/282 unanimously established September 21st as the official date for the observance. ARS PACE & UPEACE are pleased to jointly present an online event taking place on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 6:00 PM CEST (10:00 AM in Costa Rica).
