On Tuesday 17 May 2022, at the Auditorium of the Chamber of Commerce of Florence, the Vice President of Ars Pace Monica Baldi received the prestigious Palazzo Spinelli 2021 Award in recognition of her proven and continuous commitment in education, training and knowledge transfer activities and skills. The prize, awarded to Vice President Baldi by Eleonora Pecchioli, Member of the Jury and President of the Per Boboli Association, has the following motivation:
«For the constant work of support to the numerous initiatives promoted for the enhancement of cultural heritage in crisis areas and mainly in the context of training and the transfer of skills through the implementation of numerous European projects, with particular reference to the restoration of the Tower of Pisa , as an emblematic European action, during her mandate as Deputy President of the Culture Commission at the European Parliament, and for her commitment to promoting Italian excellence in the world of culture and business through the “Pinocchioworld” project ».
